Lehigh Valley Dermatology Associates, Ltd. was founded in 1979 by David B. Vasily, M.D., FAAD. He was subsequently joined in the dermatology practice by his board certified associate, Stephen C. Senft, M.D., FAAD, and two certified Physican Assistants Michelle Ramsberger, PA-C, and Sarah Hartman, PA-C in dermatology. Together with our experienced office staff, the mission of our practice is to provide our patients with the highest quality dermatologic care available today.
Meet the Team
David B. Vasily, M.D., FAAD
Dr. Vasily’s special interests in dermatology include the treatment of psoriasis for which he has gained national recognition. His clinical research in the field of psoriasis has included research in areas of phototherapy, including the clinical development of the excimer laser for psoriasis and clinical testing of a number of biologic agents used for psoriasis. His areas of interest also include contact dermatitis and dermatologic manifestations of internal disease and skin infections in athletes, including wrestlers. He is also the author of the NCAA guidelines on the disposition of skin infections in wrestlers and has served as the team dermatologist at Lehigh University for 33 years. He has served as reviewing editor for numerous professional publications and text books and has authored numerous scientific papers in dermatology. In addition, he has achieved recognition as a researcher, innovator and speaker in the field of cosmetic dermatology.
Stephen C. Senft, M.D., FAAD
Dr. Senft’s special interests in dermatology include internal manifestations of skin disease, pediatric dermatology and, especially, the management of skin cancers. He is a Fellow for the American Society of Mohs Surgery and has personally completed more than 3,000 Mohs surgery procedures. His expertise in Mohs surgery is well recognized and difficult cases are referred to him from practicing physicians and dermatologists in the area. Dr Senft also has a special interest in cosmetic injectable fillers and has participated in clinical research in this area, as well as clinical research on the development of biologics for psoriasis.
Michelle Ramsberger, PA-C
Her interest areas in dermatology, include general dermatology, psoriasis, contact dermatitis and, especially, skin surgery. She also serves as the clinical coordinator for numerous ongoing research studies, including biologics for psoriasis.
